An entry book containing:

Particulars of John Mansfield, Crown Surveyor, for the Auditor of the manors of the late Margaret, Countess of Lennox, in Yorks being leased under a commission, 19 May 1599. With an index of lands leased at the front (pages 1-221) (1600/[1] Jan-1601 July).

Particulars, made by inquisition on Exchequer Commission, drawn up by John West, Deputy King's Remembrancer, of manors granted to James, Lord Viscount Doncaster by letters patent, 26 Nov [1617]. Signed by Sir Lawrence Tanfield, Chief Baron of the Exchequer, one of the commissioners appointed by privy seal, 26 Jan [1619], to adminster the grant. A copy of the later commission and an Auditor's brief rate of the lands are included (1619-1620).

A precedent lease drawne by Mr Attorney General for the Lennox lands (1601).
