Prior to 1965 only one registered file series (VL series - MAF 189) was in use at the Central Veterinary Laboratory and it covered all aspects of administration, research and operations. In 1965 this series was closed and replaced by three new series, i.e. VLA which broadly covers the administration and establishment functions of the Laboratory; VLS which was reserved exclusively for personnel matters; and VLO which covers the functions described above. In 1969 the VLP file series was opened dealing with research projects. |
