Description:
Petitioners: Alice Beaumund (Beaumont), widow of William Beaumont of Kingston Bagpuize.
Name(s): Beaumund (Beaumont), Alice
Addressees: King and council.
Nature of request: Beaumund requests that the king remove his hand from the lands that her late husband granted to Beche for the term of 12 years which have been taken into the king's hand for certain reasons, and remain there still with the other lands of Beche. She has sued to the king and an inquisition was held by Ayliston and Hungerford that confirmed the matter.

Places mentioned: Kingston Bagpuize, [Berkshire].
People mentioned: William Beaumund (Beaumont), late husband of the petitioner; Robert de la Beche; Robert de Ayliston; Robert de Hungerford.
Note: The petition is dated to 1324 as the following related documents are all dated to the period January-August 1324 (SC 8/204-10158-61), and a close roll entry ordering the keeper of forfeited lands in Berkshire not to intermeddle further was issued on 12 March 1324 (CCR 1323-7, p.190).
