Description:

Depositions before Julius Caesar, doctor of law in the High Court of Admiralty, and William Harward, registrar, to the effect that Peter Slachemolder and Francis Rogiers, both merchants of Middelburg, Netherlands, had an amount of cochineal and some gilt leather taken from their ship the Red Lion by Sir Martin Frobisher and Sir John Hawkins. Depositions that Slachemolder and Rogiers were residents of Middelburg and the owners of the goods by Cornelius de Buser, Michael Maynett and Arnold Verhoven (ff. 372-374)
