Papers relating to Birkenhead Docks:- (a) Two reports of Admiralty Surveying Officer (printed (b) Lithographed plan of docks showing Morpeth and Egerton (c) Printed copy if memorial from bankers, merchants, shipowners and inhabitants of Liverpool infavour of Birkenhead Docks Bill; (d) Correspondence between I.K. Brunel, Engineer, and C.A. Saunders, Secretary Great Western Railway Company, and between Birkenhead Lancashire & Cheshire Junction Railway Company, and Liverpool Corporation about proposed new docks (with tracing of plan); (e) Report of conference held in Manchester at which resolution was passed urging completion of docks before any further extension of docks north of Liverpool side were proposed to, or sanctioned by, Parliament; (f) Memorandum of Birkenhead Lancashire & Cheshire Junction Railway on railways and docks at Birkenhead.
