Title: Letter from Arthur Broomfield to his brother-in-law, Sir John Oglander, Knt., at Nunwell, I.W
Description:

"I have sent you the account of what I have received, belonging to the estate of Thomas Kemp. I have allowed interest for these sums as I have received them, so have I sent you an account of what I and my wife should have received of the rents of the free land, with interest for the forbearance thinking it reasonable if we allow use for the one, we should have use for the others. Next follows the use of the children's portions given by their father's will for their education and maintenance then what we have lost out of the rents of the lands of the 5 younger children' breeding and this much for the estate of Thomas Kemp, with which you and Mr. Dillington are trusted. Now for the estate of Francis Kemp because it concerneth us in law. I have sent you an account of what belongs to us, and my wife's children and may be required by us and them, until we be satisfied and cleared of the administration. If there be any matter of moment which we cannot satisfy each other over, then let it be referred to indifferent men ... we are now going a journey for a fortnight and therefore do now part with your son and have sent you John Kemp with him, whom I pray send back about the 9th August at the farthest that he may prepare for Cambridge. Sent me a copy of your demands and exceptions."
