Folio 21: case no 127, James Ross, aged 24, Able Seaman; sick or hurt, remittent fever, was arrived on board with the rest of the sick from Kahding suffered from choleraic diarrhoea which was subdued by means of lead and opium, on the 12 November the dysenteric symptoms subsided but the febrile symptoms of remitting character had supervened; put on sick list, 27 October 1862, sent 29 November 1862 to Royal Naval Hospital Ship Melville at Hong Kong and subsequently invalided.
