Folios 3-4. Letter from Mr Hyde John Claske, Magistrate, Hyde Hall, Manchester, [Lancashire], concerning the murder of Mr Thomas Ashton, Werneth. Mr Claske suspects that three individuals are involved in the murder of Mr Thomas Ashton and asks the government to offer conditional pardons to accomplices giving information and to offer a further reward to the £500 offered by Mr Samuel Ashton (father).
