Note: Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 13.10.1496 The Sheriff replied to a previous writ that William was seized in demesne on the day of the recognisance of 4 messuages, 26 acres of land, 3 acres of meadow, 4 acres of pasture, and 3 acres of woodland in Totton and Runrigge in the parish of Eling worth 33s. 4d a year. He was not found in the bailiwick. Attached is a letter from the Sheriff saying that on 20.7.1496 he delivered the property listed to Robert Kelyng.
