Description:
Petitioners: Dean and Canons of St Stephen's Chapel in the Palace of Westminster.
Addressees: King.
Nature of request: The Dean and Canons of St Stephen's chapel state that they leased the manor of Eastling with its appurtenances, stock, goods and chattels to Simon de Burley, but that this was seized into the king's hands following judgment against Burley. The king has returned the stock, goods and chattels to the petitioners under certain conditions and, but due to the great pains on their mainpernors, they request that they be granted the property, and that their mainpernors be discharged.
