From: Leonard Lewis, Summoning Officer, Lymington [Hampshire].

Subject Matter: Letter enclosing a copy of the Lymington Chronicle published today containing the notice of the adoption of the Local Government Act 1858 to this parish. Lewis refers to a letter of the 1 November 1866 and requests that a deputation is received of the promotors before giving any decision on the second appeal, so as to explain the position more fully than in a letter of the affairs in Lymington.
