From: John le Frise, Hitchin [Hertfordshire].

Subject Matter: Letter referring to the enclosed letter from Dr Woakes, a physician, who has been, as appears from the extract from the local paper enclosed [not included in item] asking in vain for the Local Board to action. He states that he will at once adopt the suggestion given on the 29 May of pursing a formal complaint, if it is considered that he has sufficient locus standi to do so. He states that from Dr Woakes printed letter the state of Luton is 'something fearful', and he asks whether this could be addressed to the Home Secretary.
