Description:

Folios 365-371.

To: The General Board of Health.

From: Isaac Low, Deputy Commissary General, Lyndhurst [Hampshire].

Complains of lack of action to open a drain causing a nuisance and of a 'gang of burglars and trespassers'. With an extract from a letter of Mr Low's to Henry C Compton. Folio 367 has a printed copy of Mr Low's 'signature', mentioning his father's loyalty during the American War of Independence, on a letter written to Lord John Russell.

[The manuscript is largely illegible and seems to be about a long running dispute].

[Folios 365 and 366 are place markers for New Forest].
