Description: |
Newell and Ayles, Lymington. The disappointments and disadvantages attended in getting their goods from round land to Plymouth have been and still are very great because of the hazard the Masters conceive they run on that voyage without frequent convoys. The Plymouth Officers asked us to speed the rough timber for which we will need to buy a larger vessel. As the time has now elapsed, ask for orders that allowance is made for this because of the difficulties as was allowed to Messrs. Mills and Sons. |
