Folio(s) 175. Affidavit [an enclosure in folios 284-285] of Luke Townsend, of Elland with Greetland in the West Riding of Yorkshire, sworn before magistrate [Johnson Atkinson Busfeild], suspecting that guns, bayonets, swords and other weapons were being hidden in the neighbourhood by people disaffected with the king and government. He names Joseph Bottomley and Phineas Lumb, clothmakers, and Robert Burley, shopkeeper.
