Content: Folios 162-165. Letter from William Goodacre Clerk to the Guardians of the Mansfield Poor Law Union, to the Poor Law Commission, concerning the relief of paupers not belonging to Mansfield Union. The guardians have decided to give them work related poor relief. Advice is sought. The guardians request support from the paupers' own parishes, to save the expense of removing them. They list the other parishes from which they came: Arnold,Radford, Calverton, Kirkby, Basford, Wollaton, all in Basford Union, Wellow, Rufford, Thringstone in Southwell Union, Elkesley in East Retford, Earl Shilton, in Hinckley, Crich, Narborough and Uttoxeter.
