Nature of request: The petitioners show and complain that they were lately seised of the manors of Bedcote, Stourbridge and Belbroughton until Stafford disseised them by force and great might, and keeps them against law and reason, and they dare not attempt anything because of Stafford's power and might. They request that the prince's commandment be directed to Stafford commanding him to appear before the council to show how and by what title he retains the manors, and they request such direction between the parties in accordance with the law.
