Nature of request: Carvanell requests a writ of subpoena be directed to Gillios, his wife, Martyn Angove and Jakehecke commanding them under pain of £200 to be before the king at a specified day to answer the petitioner concerning the riots committed by them and other matters to be laid against them, and that the premises and be considered and granted in reverence to Holy Church. Gillios and the others withdrew themselves from the parish and have preached in open and came to his house and broke the doors, windows and walls and took all manner of goods, and the petitioner, his friends and servants dare not reside there.
