Description:

Forwards petitions from Mary Catherine Niblett and Deborah Rose Griffiths claiming the escheated property of Joseph Thorne. The acting casual receiver and the solicitor general both consider the claim of Mrs Niblett preferable, on the grounds of the care and attention bestowed by her upon the deceased, who was insane and appears to have been neglected by his relatives.
