Endorsement: Richard Rostwold, Sheriff, replies that he has delivered all the lands, tenements, goods and chattels to John Feriby. Thomas Fetiplace, Sheriff, added that the writ was given to him by his predecessor to execute as specified.

Note: Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: ? 11.11.1435 The Sheriff replied to a previous writ that Richard the clerk was not in his bailiwick but he had imprisoned Thomas in Oxford Castle. They had on the day of the recognisance the manors of Dene Overchalkford and Nether Chalford in Oxon. Thomas held in demesne lands and tenements in Banbury, Neithrop, Wickham and Burton in Oxon. With the manors they are worth £21 6s. 8d a year. He had also 100 sheep, 4 cart horses, and domestic utensils worth £11. They have been seized into the King's hands.
