Note: Inquisition and return: Date to be returned: 17.5.1409 On 16.8.1392 John and William Kingsmill paid the 12m. they owed to Richard Horpol and received his acquittance which has been produced in Chancery. However, Margaret, the wife of Richard Horpel, and Richard Wedon, citizen and stockfishmonger of London, the executors of Richard Horpel, are pursuing John and William for the 12m., and William is in prison. William's mainpernors ask Richard's executors to release him from prison. The executors are summoned before Chancery. [Duplicate of No. 21]
