Petitioners: Adam Coppendale, Thomas de Beverley, John Gervais, William Dudhill, John de Erghum and other good men of Beverley.

Nature of request: The petitioners, who have been forced out of Beverley by various rioters and rebels against the king, request that they be allowed to return, and that all obligations made by the rebels be annulled. They also request that their ancient privileges be restored, and that all indictments brought during the time when the rebels controlled the town before Bigot and his companions be brought before Tresulyan in the king's bench and be annulled.
