Description: APMaster and brothers of St Lazarus of the Knights of JerusalemKingThe Master and brothers of St Lazarus of the Knights of Jerusalem make two requests:1) They request some compensation in lands, rents or churches for an annual rent of 40 marks which he owes them, of which they have received nothing for his time and for a great part of his father's time.2) They request the king's grace in the matter of the assessment of the fifteenth for themselves and their people, as they have nothing with which to support their banner and their brothers overseas, as he knows is their duty. They are to have a writ for their own goods, bought as a hospital etc., provided that the goods of all their people are assessed.r the same rent) on a roll of petitions ascribed by H.
