Description: APMerchants of the company of the Frescobaldi.[King and council]The merchants show that, for the lack of silver granted to them in return for the great sum that the king owes them, they took, as much for weight as for the condition thereof, the lease of the king’s mine of Cornwall for one mark whereas it is worth no more than 10s. They request that it be returned to them at 10s., and that the labour and expenses they incurred in carrying silver from the mine to London, along with other reasonable costs they have necessarily incurred, be allowed to them in their account. They further request allowance of the expenses and wages that they paid to the two masters of the mine and to eighteen miners who came to them at the mine by command of the bishop of Chester, the count of Savoy and Otto de Grandison.emph>CornwallLondon[Walter Langton], Bishop of Chester (Bishop of Coventry and Lichfield)[Amadeus V], Count of SavoyOtto de Graunsoun (Grandisson)
