Cult of ritual murder and cannibalism ('fetish murders') carried out by societies of 'human leopards and alligators' in Southern Province of Protectorate. Inquiries held into conduct of Paramount Chiefs Siaffa Kebbi of Dama Chiefdom and Momo Vangahun of Nongowa Chiefdom, both in the Kenema District; both chiefs deposed. Jaluahun Chiefdom in Kailahun District also implicated.
