Germany. (1) Outline map of area between Cologne, Hanover and the North Sea, showing location of the Möhne valley. Scale: 3.8 inches to 150 miles [1:2,500,000]. (2) 'The Ruhr Valley'; map of area between the Rhine, Lippstadt and Meschede, showing area depicted on (3) and (4). Scale: 4 inches to 30 miles [1:475,200]. (3) Map of the Möhne valley area between Menden and Ruthen. (4) 'District around Möhne-Talsperre'; map of same area as (3), based on the Preussische Landes-Aufnahme maps at scale of 1:25,000, produced in 1926-1927. Numbered areas indicate locations considered for parachute landings. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 35 cm x 39 cm; (2) 50 cm x 39 cm; (3) 25 cm x 39 cm; (4) 73cm x 98cm, compiled from several sheets joined.
