Description:

2 sheets of plans elevations and sections of coastguard cottages. Scales: plan and section 1 inch to 8 feet; elevation 1 inch to 4 feet. Signed by Henry Case, Surveyor of Coast Guard Buildings. Approved by H[astings] R Yelverton [CB], Commodore Comptroller General [Coastguard]. Originally illustrating Case's report no 302 dated 30 May 1860 and countersigned by H R Yelverton, enclosed in Yelverton's report no 66 to the Secretary of the Admiralty. These cottages are said to be based on those erected shortly before at Freshwater Gate, Isle of Wight. Dimensions of sheets: (5) 46 cm x 79 cm; (6) 54 cm x 41 cm
