Description:

Manuscript prize appeal No 510, from the High Court of Admiralty, filed in 1804.

Captured ship: Henriette (master Gottlieb Jager).

Nationality: Prussian.

History: bound from Batavia and China to Emden, laden with tea, nankeen, metals, ginger, canes, Japanned ware, arrack, confectionery and madeira; taken on 31 May 1803 by HMS Lapwing (Alexander Skene commanding), and brought into Great Yarmouth.
