Catalogue description Colonial Office: Arabia Original Correspondence

This series consists of despatches between the Colonial Office and the Political Resident and other officials in the Persian Gulf, in the period after questions of policy affecting the Arab areas within British spheres of influence were transferred to the Colonial Office from the Foreign Office and the India Office. There is also some correspondence with these departments, with the Admiralty and with other departments.
