Catalogue description EXTRACTS OF MINUTES (Series 2).

Entry books apparently made by the Surveyor General from the certified extracts and original correspondence in Series 1. The minutes are not entered in the order of those in the Board of Ordnance's minute books and probably represent considerably less than half of the total business done each day by the Board. The later volumes are more in the nature of brief registeres of correspondence than minute books.
