Description:

Coin face: deep V-shaped gouge; possibly officially defaced, but unlikely; faint traces of two or three letters, not legible; very faint trace of cross and pellets in quadrants; bevelled edge. Striking face: V-shaped fractures around circumference; fracture extending c 15 mm. into shaft. Height 44.5 mm. Diameter. of coin face with bevel 25 mm. Without bevel 21 mm.
