Coin face: king's face worn very smooth, but traces of crown, rather high up, and bunches of hair on sinister side formed by 3-4 pellets above and curl below; difficult to establish beaded rim; bevelled edge. Shaft: square in section where spike joins shaft, chamfered to octagonal, passing to round section below coin face; spike blunted. Shaft: square in section at tip. Height of shaft 105.5 mm. Height of spike 43 mm. Diameter. of coin face with bevel 20.5 mm. Without bevel 19 mm.
