Legend: letters not distinguishable, except S (of POSVI, or at end of CIVITAS). Coin face: half broken away; long cross with bifurcated ends visible, together with parts of the two concentric circles; bevelled edge visible. Striking face: fractured around; most of flange broken away; split extending from striking head c 23 mm. down into shaft. Height 40. mm. Diameter. of coin face with bevel 33 mm. Without bevel 27 mm.
