Legend: + EDWARDVS o REX o AIIGL - - - - - Unbarred N. Coin face: head with free-flowing locks; shoulders and arms visible; bevelled edge. Shaft: square in section where spike joins shaft, chamfered to octagonal, passing to round section below coin face; spike pointed, tip slightly furred. Height of shaft 89.5 mm. Height of spike 38 mm. Diameter of coin face with bevel 24 mm. Without bevel 20.5 mm.
