+ EDWARDVS o REX o ANGL o 7 o FRACI o Legend: E broken at bottom; stops around 7 uncertain. Coin face: double tressure of nine lobes, with fleur at points; well-preserved crown and bust; bevelled edge. Shaft: square in section where spike joins shaft, chamfered to octagonal, passing to round section below coin face. Height of shaft 90 mm. Height of spike 35.2 mm. Diameter of coin face with bevel 25.2 mm. Without bevel 24 mm.
