Striking face: a great part of rim missing; surface layer of head has lifted, and is shaling off. Die is cracked irregularly right through from striking face to and across total width of coin face, but holds together because striking head has cracked obliquely. Height 62.5 mm. Diameter of coin face with bevel 32 mm. Without bevel 29 mm.
