12 items (formerly filed among Ordnance Office correspondence concerning lands at Quebec City, Lower Canada) extracted from WO 44/43. Detailed descriptions are given at item level. At the time of extraction, this sequence of items was erroneously thought to relate to correspondence concerning Queenston (now in Ontario); this was probably due to two different sets of correspondence being mistakenly tied together as one bundle. Hence, the items now in MPHH 1/699 (also extracted from correspondence in WO 44/43 concerning Quebec City) are numbered in a separate sequence from those filed here. |
