1 item extracted from WO 44/41. Lower Canada (now Quebec). 'Copy of a survey of part of the River St. Lawrence... with part of the city of Montreal in connection with the Island of St. Helens and Longeuil [sic, Longueuil], shewing the line of proposed ferry, from Montreal to St. Helens and intended path across a part of the Island'. Scale: 1 inch to 400 feet. Compass indicator. Surveyed by Major Henderson and Lieutenant Smith, Royal Engineers, 1818. Signed by Colonel E W Durnford, Commanding Royal Engineer, 20 February 1828. Originally accompanied a report to General Mann, 22 February 1828; this report is not preserved in WO 44/41.
