'Soundings of Table Bay at the Cape of Good Hope as taken in the year 1786 by order of Governor van de Graaff': chart of Table Bay and Robben Island showing soundings and notes on nature of sea bottom. Approximate scale: 1 inch to about 275 toises [1:21,100]. Compass indicator. Signed by Captain G Bridges, Royal Engineers, [c1797]. Endorsed: 'Brought home by Maj r Bridges_May 1801'.
