'[t' H]oogh - Heemraetschap vande Uytwaterende Sluysen in Keenemerlandt ende West-Vrieslandt': map of the area (now in Noord-Holland province) between Den Helder, Enkhuizen and Haarlem, showing towns, roads, houses, gardens, fields and sluices; also shows ships in the North Sea and Zuiderzee (now Waddenzee and IJsselmeer). Ornamental cartouche contains the scale bar and surveyor's name; national coat of arms, in an elaborate cartouche; arms of the senior dike-reeves. Scale: 1 inch to about 208 Rhineland roods. Compass roses; east at the top. Surveyed by Johannes Douw; calligraphy by Abraham Deur; engraved by Conraedt Decker. The suggested date is taken from the British Library Catalogue.
