This piece contains a variety of material previously described as miscellaneous. It is not known which ships the majority of these papers originated from. The papers include:

  • An account book of sales of cargo of the ship Dauphin of La Rochelle (Captain chevalier Baudin), 1704-5.
  • An anonymous journal describing a voyage from China, 1729-1730.
  • A paper entitled How to find latitude by the distance of the zenith from the equator, c.1725.
  • A description of the Near East coast.
  • A volume on sailing manoeuvres, 1736-57.
  • Register of sealings in the prize appeals court 1702-1712.
  • A volume relating to a voyage to China, 1738.
