Description:

1 item extracted from PRO 30/8/339. North-Western Italy. Map of '[L]es Etats du Roi de Sardaigne, ceux des Républiques de Genes, Luques & Venise, la Lombardie Autrichienne les Du[chés]', showing French, Austrian, Sardinian, Genoese and Swiss boundaries and possessions. Originally enclosed in despatch no 36 dated 24 June 1800 from Lord Minto, itself accompanying an original treaty with Austria dated 20 June 1800, a secret convention and a separate article, sealed and signed at Vienna by Minto and an Austrian representative. An explanation of the boundaries is written in the lower margin.
