'Europe 1:1,000,000': Sheet North M 34: 'Krakau [now Kraków]' (provisional edition): map of eastern Europe (areas now in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia) showing contours, rivers, place names, boundaries, roads, railways. Reference table; indexes to adjoining sheets and boundaries; lists of authorities and abbreviations; pronunciation glossary. Sides not parallel because of projection. Compiled at the Royal Geographical Society under the direction of Geographical Section, General Staff; drawn and printed by Ordnance Survey, 1915; minor corrections October 1916. MS additions, coloured, show barriers to communications around Teschen (now Ceský Tesín and Cieszyn). To illustrate Peace Congress memorandum on the problem of Teschen, 7 February 1919. On sheet: 60 cm x 52 cm.
