1 item (enclosure to letter of 9 July 1825 from the Colonial Office) extracted from FO 15/4. 'A Chart of the Bay of Honduras, &c.': shows the Gulf of Honduras between 83°W and 90°W and between 14°30'N and 24°N; soundings, currents, winds. Scale (calculated): 1 inch to about 17.25 miles. Compass roses and rhumb lines. Magnetic variation 1819. Insets: environs of Belize; western Cuba; Bay of Truxillo; Port Royal, Ruatan; Bonacca harbour (from a chart of 1779). Constructed by John Purdy. Engraved by George Allen. Red ink additions.
