Note:	In WO 370/24 (1924-1926), Submissions are for the first time found bound in with the Royal Warrants (miscellaneous). The practice appears not to be wholly consistent until 1950, when binding was discontinued and the Submissions were tied together with the Warrant by a ribbon. The Miscellaneous submissions which appear here were filed loose in the appropriate Miscellaneous Royal Warrant volumes now in WO 370. The implication is that other submissions for the period 1917-1923 have not survived.
