Note: | A map of Middlesex, Essex and Hertfordshire, at about 2½ miles to an inch, was published by Overton and Bowles in 1726 (MPH 335). A map of the same counties, at about 1½ miles to an inch, surveyed by John Warburton, Joseph Bland and Payler Smyth is undated but assigned to 1746 (MR 678). Both include parts of northern Surrey, as does the Survey. MS. 1 vol. |
