Appellant: James Jenkinson Bibby, Frederick Chapple, William Miles Moss and John Taylor Cross, all of Liverpool, merchants, owners of the screw steam vessel Egyptian. Respondent: Gideon Jeremie Boissevain and Jan Boissevain of Amsterdam, and others, owners of the schooner Jonge Walrave, and Cornelius Cardinaal of Amsterdam, owner of her cargo. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 31 Dec 1861. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
