Respondent: Matthew Rickinson and Valentine Rickinson, both of West Hartlepool, Durham, shipowners and William Rickinson of Thorpe Flying Dales, York, shipowner, owners of the brig Severn. Subject: Collision between said vessels on 11 Aug 1861. Lower Court: High Court of Admiralty of England.
