Lancs., given to the Convent by William, Lord Lovell, Burnell and Holland, kt., at the instance of Ralph Botiller, Baron and Lord of Seudeley, late Treasurer of England, founder of the house, reciting (1) Letters Patent, 13 April 23 Henry VI ; (2) Letters Patent, under seal of Duchy of Lancaster, 16 November 25 Henry VI ; (3) Letters Patent, 26 November 24 Henry VI ; (4) Grant by William, Lord Lovell, Burnell and Holland, kt., dated at Westleght, 26 August 26 Henry VI ; (5) Letters of William Catton, Prior of Erdebury, appointing proctors, 15 March 1450/1.
