Letters of Appropriation by Thomas, Bishop of St. Davids, to the Abbot and Convent of Vale Royal, diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, reciting the foundation of a monastery in a certain valley in the forest of Mare, co. Chester, by Edward I, and the grantof the advowson of the parish church of Lampaderuaur, as in the deed of Peter de Lacy and others (see E 328/28) by Edward, Prince of Wales, with the consent of the the Chapter of St. Davids, and of Griffin, Archdeacon of Cardygan, appropriating the church of Lampaderuaur, and the chapels of Castelwalter, Laneler and Kelloured, to the house of Vale Royal. Dated in the Chapter House of the church of St. Davids. Tags for 3 seals.
